Ortlieb makes high quality products and these saddle bags are no exception. They are dust proof and waterproof so you don't have to worry about wet or dusty clothes at the end of a long ride. They attach to your bike with wide velcro and tension straps and you can switch them from bike to bike in the blink of a eye. We like them because they're light, flexible and can be stuffed with gear. They're cut high enough so your adventure pillion can get their feet on the pegs. The bags measure 13 inches (33 cm) tall, by 15 inches tapering to 11 inches (38/28 cm) long, and 8.3 inches(21cm) wide. The bags have a volume of 47 litres combined (23.5 litres each). They come equipped with shoulder straps and handles, so it's easy for your passenger to carry them into your hotel room, or tent, at the end of the day while you do some, uhhh, maintenance on the bike...right? (Ortlieb recommends 10cm between exhaust pipe and the bags.)
